Man Had 23-Inch Sex Toy Stuck Inside Him, A New Way Of Removal Is Needed
A 31-year-old man in Italy had a 23-inch sex toy stuck up his backside.

He had been attempting to remove the toy for 24 hours before seeking medical assistance.

However, despite the size of the sex toy, he told doctors he was only suffering from mild abdominal pain, but had no other serious symptoms.

Traditional removal tools such as a polypectomy snare and biopsy forceps were tried by the doctors but they could not get the rubber dildo out as they said it was "too big and smooth."

Therefore, the doctors were forced to get creative and invent a new method of removal.

They threaded a piece of wire through a catheter to create a sort of "noose" and inserted it into his colon to catch the end and drag it out.

"Several standard attempts with different extraction devices were made," lead medic Dr Lorenzo Dioscoridi said.

"We finally succeeded in the endoscopic extraction of the device, catching the distal edge of the dildo with this guidewire lasso."

"This device showed a technical advantage as compared with ordinary polypectomy snares, due to its much higher stiffness."

The patient was discharged later that day. He later wrote a thank you note to the doctors for solving his ’embarrassing problem’ without needed to operate.
